He began his career in 2004 as a loan originator, and spent the next 15 years working directly with families and investors to navigate home financing. He then stepped into senior leadership with a community bank, where he led the mortgage division for five years. During that time, he gained a broader perspective on lending, team leadership, and how thoughtful mortgage strategy can play a meaningful role in a client’s overall financial life.

Along the way, Travis developed a passion for making sense of the complexities of mortgages—especially creative financing strategies and how they connect to wise personal finance and stewardship. He enjoys helping clients truly understand their options rather than simply moving through a transaction.
